A Journey Born from Experience
Like most medical students, my interview answer was simple: "I want to become a doctor to help people!" But mine was rooted in deep understanding of how medicine works through personal experience.
As a competitive alpine ski racer, I suffered through many injuries. This gave me firsthand insight into the healthcare system—both its strengths and its profound weaknesses.
Through years of medical school, residency, and eventually attending positions, I witnessed how corporate medicine changes that original mission to help patients. Our healthcare is broken, physician autonomy is nearly non-existent, and patients suffer from lack of access to a provider who truly cares to make a difference.
But my mission remains the same. I want to help people!

A name rooted in personal heritage and powerful principles
Why "Triglav Health"?
The name of my company is very personal and intentional. Triglav means "three heads" in my language, and it is the highest mountain in my beautiful country of Slovenia.
Nestled in the middle of the Julian Alps, it proudly stands 2,864 meters high, and yes, I have climbed the summit.

Being able to spend time with your doctor is near impossible in today's world. I want to be accessible to my patients with same day or next day 30-60 minute appointments, with the ability to email and text me with reasonable response time.

My monthly membership fee will be transparent and fixed. No visit fees, no copays, no deductibles. Basic labs and generic medications available at direct cost—we're cutting out the middle man.
Accountable
I am personally accountable to each of my patients. No corporate metrics dictating unnecessary tests or rushed appointments. Just genuine, evidence-based care focused on your wellbeing.
